HAPPY NATIONAL BOOK DAY!

Today is the national book day! I was planning to write a February’s favorite, but then I found out today was National Book Day so I decided to do something different. I am doing the Goodreads book tag. I had seen this a while ago on the blog Contando Historias… by Richelle Delgado and been wanting to do it since then. I know the tag is about 3 years too late but why not? Let’s start.

  1. Book I’m currently reading:

I am currently reading two books. On The Price of Salt by Patricia Highsmith which
also known as Carol. There is a movie from this book and was actually nominated for various Oscars. The other book I’m reading is called The Assassin’s Blade which is a book of novellas from The Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas.

2. Your next lecture.

I actually have a list on my calendar of the books I plan to read next and on which kind 200of order which I always cheat on. The next book I have to read depends how long I take reading The Price of Salt. If I take too long then I’m going to read The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins because is what we are reading on my book club, but if I don’t take too long, which I probably won’t, I think I’m going to read Moth to a Flame by Ashley Antoinette or Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. Either way I’m reading both in these next couple of weeks.

Get The Girl in the Train in Spanish here.

3. Do you use the 8e0d06dfab847ce12f67ac2fdb313605  in Goodreads?

Yes and no. I sometimes use it, but I’m never sure what to give it. I use the star rating
the way it’s supposed to be its about how much I enjoyed the book and not the quality of a book. But yes, I use it just not as much as my blog star rating.

4. The last book you added to your to-read list.

The last book I added to my to read list The

Can we talk about how gorgeous is this cover?

Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine.
I’m so excited to read this book. I don’t have any plans of reading it yet because I don’t own it, but if I decide to buy it (or someone gives to me in exchange of an honest review *wink wink*) then I will definitely read it. Still, I definitely want to read it, but as you can probably see since I’m always catching up on my to read list I’m usually late. I always read the books when the hype is over. No shame.

5. Have you signed up for the a9d79d51c134b7d28ac870d5b05eeb45.png?

Yes! I signed up for this year’s reading challenge to go with my blog reading challenge. I want to read 30 books and listen to 5 Audiobooks. I’m using this as a way to make me feel challenged enough to make time to read and blog. I love reading, but sometimes it’s hard to take the time off to college and everything but since I love the challenges this challenge makes me take time for myself and read. After all, reading relaxes me.

6. The last book you marked as read.19547856

The last book I marked as read was Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli. I finished it on February 28 of this year.  There’s a review coming soon.

7. Do you have a wishlist?

Yes, I do have a wishlist but it is not on Goodreads. I did not know you could make a wish
l200-1ist on Goodreads. So unless you count the to be read shelf and my amazon wishlist then no, I don’t have a wish list. Can someone teach me how?

8. What book are you planning to buy soon?

Uff.  I just have so many books to read that I’m not planning to buy any books soon, like that has actually stopped me before, but if I were to buy one I think I would get The Wrath and the Dawn by Renée Ahdieh .

9. Do you have a favorite quote?

I have way too many favorite quote, but my favorite is a spoiler so I will mention it, but I will not mention the author or book so I won’t spoil it. Okay. My favorite quote is:

“I set off, off to kill the man I love.”

10. Who are your favorite authors?137902

You never I don’t ever think about it. I mean for many years I used to love this author but then I grew up and found it weird that he published so many books a year and most with a another writer so I did a little searching and found out he uses ghostwriter. I felt so betrayed that I never thought of favorite author. Still if I have to answer I would have to say Richelle Mead because she wrote my favorite series ever.

 11. Are you part of any group

I am a part, and admin, of a book club for this blog. We are so few that we haven’t even been able to choose a book. Join here. Apart from that I have joined like 4 groups today, but since I just joined I rather not mention them until I’m sure.

Well that is everything for today. I hope you enjoy it and don’t forget to follow and subscribe so you can know when my next post is up.

Love, Jane
